The doll's presence coincides with a series of bizarre events, including the death of the couple's neighbors, Pete and Sharon (seen in 'Annabelle 2'), and their home invasion by members of a Satanist sect. Unaware of its cursed toy origins, John (Ward Horton) presents his future wife, Mia (Annabelle Wallis), with the Annabelle doll. Good dose of tension and scares, the story connects well with 'The Nun' and gives an interesting origin to the Anabelle doll.Īgain we have a couple of protagonists who come into contact with Annabelle. Sandberg (from the interesting 'When the Lights Go Out'), this 'Annabelle 2' is another good prologue to the universe of Summoning Evil.
